When I was a wee lass, I was always told I would make a great teacher. And I resisted it. 

I wouldn't be cooped up in a classroom; there were things I wanted to do! I wanted to learn about the world: its places, its people, and its operations. 

So, what did I do? Spoiler alert: I've become a learning leader, i.e. teacher.
